Moldow High Load Filter types MHL and MHL-MW are for negative pressure as well as positive operation with automatic and continuous high pressure cleaning of the filter media. This newly developed filter design and high pressure cleaning permits considerably higher loads compared to traditional filters.

MHL-filters are designed especially to handle large air volumes and heavy dust loadings such as waste from production of furniture, MDF-board, chip-board and mineral wool a.o.

The high load capacity makes the filter very competitive.

Moldow High Load filters are designed for air volumes between approx. 20,000-200,000 m³/h, where continuous operation up to 24 hours, 7 days a week is required.

The filters are designed to operate in systems with a pressure difference of max. 5,000 Pa. The filter bags (with dust settling on the outside) are fitted with an inner spring bracing. A special bag design reduces the air velocity, which increases the air and dust load considerably.

The regeneration system has been improved by using much higher cleaning effect.

The filter bags are cleaned continuously during operation through a regeneration carriage with a high-pressure fan sending cleaned  air  at high speed  through  the bags with nozzle pipes. The filter media is cleaned very efficiently. A load up to about 150 m³ air per m² filter area per hour can be reached.

The Moldow High Load filter is designed for sub-pressure operation also allowing the use of high efficient clean air fans.

Considerable energy savings are reached when the air is exhausted through the filter by fans with an efficiency up to 90%.
