Application
The twister is used for removing excess wood dust from e.g. sanding machines.
The Twister is designed to be mounted either as a separate unit or in line after a sanding machine.
The Twister has its own control system and can be connected so that it starts and / or stops at the same time as the sanding machine.
Function
The cleaning takes place by air nozzles which remove the dust from the surface of the component. During the cleaning the components are de-electrified for static electricity by an ionized air flow. This prevents dust from being attracted by the component after the cleaning.
The cleaning air is created by an integrated high-pressure fan which recirculates the air in the machine through a filter. Furthermore an external exhaustion is needed for the Twister in order to maintain a low negative pressure.
The components are transported through the Twister by a frequency controlled roller conveyor which is made of PVC-covered steel rollers.
The Twister can be vertically adjusted in accordance to thickness of the components. The adjustments are encoded by pressing the up- and down arrows on the operation panel and further a number of precoded adjustments can be stored.
The Twister is available with a digital control panel display. On request, the Twister is available with inlet and outlet conveyor.
